Lecturers may be aware of how large the syllabus can be and how short the semester is. Some semesters can be shortened by factors like general elections. Lectures who know how important that unit can be they may try to create other free time to help the students grasp as much they can.
Research showed that at this level the longer the teacher teaches the less the students and pupils concentration. These types of studies are not encouraged by the government of various states. After this the government has allowed presence of private schools which teach what they want in their own ways.
Generally this over lecturing way of teaching is never encouraged though it has advantages. One of the advantages is that students have a lot of time to revise. Focused students can take the left free time for their own studies and it will help them advance their studies.
Lecturing way of teaching is not really meant for questions or any discussion. This means the lecturer gets to the hall and start talking until they are through with their lecture. Depending on different reasons and factors that lead to such teaching are discussed below.
