Planning Your Your Beach Wedding
The concept of an enchanting beach wedding is something that plenty of future brides have in mind. They picture themselves on crystal white sands, with an attractive sea nightfall and the sound of the waves lapping up on the shore. How much more romantic can it get, right?
But before getting to that point there's a lot of planning that has to be done before the dream can become reality.
Hi, my name is Sam, and I have a list of a few of the details that you might like to keep under consideration as you plan your beach wedding.
First of all, decide your position and stick hard to it. The larger the budget the more lavish you are able to afford to be and the more options you will have on the selection of location.
How many guests will you have, and, because your wedding location is on the beach, what percentage of those guests will plan on making the occasion part of their overall vacation? If enough of your guests are planning on doing precisely that, then perhaps you may want to wed at a resort-friendly location.
Is your beach wedding going to be a formal or ad-hoc affair? The more formal the celebration the more planning is most likely going to be needed, and you could need to take a look at engaging a local marriage coordinator, especially if you are marrying far from home.
What time of the year do you want to marry? Not every beach has good weather throughout the year, and the further north the beach the more likely it is that there will be a cold season. You cannot control the weather, but you can plan on marrying at a time of year when it is less likely you will be caught in the afternoon rain during wet season. Or shivering outside on the beach in single digit temperatures in the middle of January.
These are just some of the details you will need to consider if you're planning on a beach wedding. Plan it right, and you will be left with the ideal memories of where you and your better half exchanged promises. Get this wrong though, and it may be catastrophic.
If you're planning on having a beach wedding there are many resources on the Internet you can refer to for information. Or alternately, as I formerly mentioned, there are numerous experienced local wedding planners who have planned beach weddings for others and know all of the problems. So do not be put off by having to pay pro fees for a job that you feel you might possibly carry out very well yourself. Those fees could well turn out to be an investment and the difference in having an ideal day or the big day from hell!
